Hans van den Berg has been active in the field of Private Equity for 20 years. Before that he held various management positions for ABB in Europe and Asia for 20 years. He started his private equity activities working with a Family Office.  After that he worked as an independent fund manager in portfolio management, deal structuring and fundraising. He held various positions in the Board of growth companies in Switzerland and abroad.  In the past years he has mainly been active in corporate finance and M&A with activities in Europe. He has longstanding experience in the segments of cleantech and energy. He is a former Board member of SECA (Swiss Private Equity & Corporate Finance Association) and EVCA (European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association).  Hans van den Berg holds a MSc. degree in Elec. Eng. from the technical university of Delft / Netherlands and has completed a corporate MBA Programm.
